WASHINGTON D.C. (August 24, 2009)—ANNOUNCING THE 2009 BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY SOCIETY PUBLICATION AWARD WINNERS. The awards recognize the best books published in 2007 and 2008 relating to archaeology and the Bible. Submissions are evaluated by a panel of peers. Winning authors from four different categories each receive an award of $1,000.00 and an honorary certificate. These prestigious awards are made possible by a grant from the Leopold and Clara M. Fellner Charitable Foundation, through its trustee Frederick L. Simmons.
