BIG ISLAND TOUR
Cyprus and Crete

September 25 - October 8, 2008

Led by popular BAS Tour Leader & Lecturer Professor Daniel Schowalter

You can go on a tour or you can listen to lectures, but this Biblical Archaeology Society tour of Cyprus and Crete gives you the best of both worlds...

...an unforgettable scenic tour led by knowledgeable, energetic Professor Daniel Schowalter, a BAS favorite.

You’ll visit stunning sites that combine history and beauty. Tour lectures will focus on The Mission of Paul and the End of The Acts of the Apostles. The talks will explore how closely the stories found in Acts 24-28 match evidence from Paul’s letters and the archaeological record. The purpose is to determine how the author of Acts structured the final stories of Paul’s mission to highlight important developments in early Christianity.
